Summary
Private detective Richard Rogue takes a vacation at a dude ranch where he discovers the body of Tom Harding, who was shot by a rival writer, Brian Mills. Rogue accepts money from Harding’s widow, Anne, to clear her husband’s name, but his investigation leads him to the murder scene where he finds crucial evidence. After being attacked and robbed of the clues, Rogue deduces that Anne actually killed Harding to secure the rights to their play and planned to frame her husband. The episode concludes with the revelation of Anne’s guilt, exposed by a broken boot heel found at the scene.
