Expand the player at the bottom of the screen and tap a speed. To get finer steps or faster speeds, change the speed settings in Settings → Playback.
Change the speed
- Tap the player bar at the bottom of the screen to expand it.
- Tap a speed, for example 1.5×.
The speed you choose applies to every episode and is remembered.
Speeds between the buttons (like 1.3×)
Open Settings: on a phone, tap the menu button (☰, top right) and choose Settings. On a computer, Settings is in the bar across the top. Under Playback, set Speed control to Slider. The slider moves in 0.05× steps, and the − and + buttons move 0.25× at a time.
Faster or slower than the buttons go
Under Settings → Playback, set Maximum speed (up to 5×) and Minimum speed (down to 0.5×). The speed buttons and slider cover whatever range you choose.
You can't set a different speed for each show.
