WW 1004: Fat-Washed - RTX Spark and Hybrid AI
Summary
Windows Weekly episode 1004 covers Microsoft's Surface event, announcing the new RTX Spark laptops powered by NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture for local AI. The show details two main configurations: a 32GB creator tier starting at $2,600 and a 128GB developer tier for running large language models locally. Hosts discuss the "hybrid intelligence" strategy, which allows Windows 11 to orchestrate between local and cloud AI models, and note that Call of Duty will be supported on this ARM-based platform by 2027.
