Summary
In the frontier town of Slim Chance, US Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles investigate a robbery targeting a red trunk containing stolen Wells Fargo money. While Jingles reluctantly rehearses for a Shakespearean play, the villainous Lou Tracy attempts to buy the trunk and kidnaps the lead actress to distract the lawmen. Jingles disguises himself as the star to lure the kidnappers into a trap, leading to a shootout that exposes the gang's plot. The money is recovered from Jingles' costume, and the episode concludes with the villains arrested and the community's culture preserved.
