Summary
Lidia and her brother Gleb travel to a remote island to find their estranged father’s hidden fortune. After Gleb abandons her, Lidia must survive starvation and a terrifying, dog-like creature lurking in an abandoned cabin. She eventually befriends the beast, named Buzinka, and uses it to escape the island. Lidia returns to confront Gleb, choosing to keep the creature as a silent, protective companion rather than seeking revenge.
