1396: Kaskade | The Sober Raver Who Spins Hits from Euphoria
Summary
Jordan Harbinger sits down with electronic music pioneer Cascade to discuss the nuanced role of AI in creative processes, distinguishing between helpful tools and unauthorized replication of decades of work. They explore the realities of touring, including a chaotic incident where a generator caught fire in front of 40,000 fans, and how artists maintain their artistic identity while evolving over a 30-year career. The conversation also covers the technical and emotional aspects of live performance, from improvising with crowds to managing physical health during high-stakes shows.
