Summary
Lucy Butterfield investigates her missing colleague Cora Kent at a remote farmhouse, where she discovers the landlady is feeding her sick daughter, Cathy, with blood. As Lucy uncovers clues like an ominous anti-macassar and a bottle of garlic, she realizes Cathy is a vampire and that she herself is the next target. The horror culminates when the hired man Aaron kills the undead child with a wooden stake, saving Lucy from being drained.
