20: Gregory
Sep 5, 2025 · 39m
Summary
The protagonist confronts Gregory Taylor, the creator of the Concentrics, who reveals the organization is a self-sustaining "emotional virus" driven by human curiosity rather than a cult. Taylor admits he built the system for vanity and refuses to help locate the protagonist's daughter, Marianne, arguing she has chosen a new life. Interspersed are scenes of explorers discovering an alien structure resembling a family constellation therapy site and members of the Concentrics searching for a woman named Marianne Tozer.
