Summary
The Queen of the spaceship Nightingale travels to the dead planet Helios III to verify if her daughter, Quasar One, successfully revived it. Despite her advisor’s warnings, she lands and discovers the planet is barren, leading her to believe her daughter failed. However, upon stepping outside, she experiences a lush, living world, realizing her suit’s sensors were malfunctioning or her perception was altered. She returns to the ship, having witnessed the truth of her daughter’s sacrifice.
