Summary
This Hungarian folk tale follows John, a swineherd who climbs a magical tree to save a king and wins the hand of Princess Etelka. After accidentally freeing a seven-headed dragon, the beast kidnaps the princess on their wedding day. John uses three magic mares to rescue her, but the dragon recaptures her three times, ultimately killing John on the fourth attempt.
