Summary
A head cheerleader in a small Texas town uncovers a supernatural horror after her friend Tommy is transformed by a desert ghoul. Trapped in an abusive relationship with the sheriff’s son, she stabs him to death and lures the monster to the scene. When the sheriff attempts to bury her alive to cover up the crime, she uses ancient runes to summon the ghoul, which kills both men, allowing her to escape into the night.
