Summary
Private detective Richard Rogue investigates the disappearance of Phyllis Adrian, who vanishes while her husband Howard is having an affair with his secretary. Rogue finds Phyllis at a club with Nicky Barron, but she is later murdered by a remote-controlled gun triggered by a musical note. The investigation reveals that Howard, jealous of Phyllis's relationship with a violinist, set up the trap and hired a snoop to frame others. Ultimately, Howard is killed by his own device when a scream triggers the mechanism again.
