Summary
Private investigator Richard Rogue is framed for the murder of Janice Cole at a swanky summer hotel, where he discovers her body only to find it later moved to his own cabin. As the district attorney builds a case against him based on planted evidence, Rogue investigates the suspects, including Janice’s fiancé Clint Hayes and her old flame Frank Pitts. The mystery unravels when Rogue uses a broken watch crystal to expose a jealous Clint, who accidentally shot Janice during a struggle with Frank, who had been blackmailing her.
