Summary
Richard Diamond investigates a string of murders at a carnival where men who pursue the fortune teller Tony Lawrence are killed. Posing as a barker, Diamond suspects the killer is one of three people present when the latest victim asked Tony for a date. He deduces the culprit is Chuckles the Clown, who rigged a gun trap to kill a man named Leonardi, unaware that Leonardi was a midget. Diamond exposes the killer’s mistake, leading to his arrest and the resolution of the case.
