Summary
Clark Kent narrowly avoids exposing his secret identity to Lois Lane and Perry White after stopping a bullet in a sporting goods store. He then tracks the shooter, Kilrain, to his apartment, where he confronts him about an attempt to stop White’s trip to Canada. Kilrain reveals he acts under the control of a mysterious villain known as the Laugher, who despises being awakened. The episode ends with Superman discovering the Laugher is awake, setting up the next adventure.
