Matt O'Brien Has Never Seen The Thing
Summary
Comedian Matt O'Brien joins Kyle Ayers and Bailey Norton to rewrite John Carpenter's The Thing despite never having seen it, resulting in a chaotic script featuring Kurt Russell and a sentient microscope. The trio discusses the film's box office struggles, practical effects, and its place in horror history while sharing childhood memories of scary movies like The Exorcist and Signs. They also engage in a wild round of Build the Perfect Movie and promote upcoming comedy events in Los Angeles.
