Rewind with Karen & Georgia - 119: Fingers Everywhere
Summary
In this Rewind episode, Karen and Georgia revisit their 2018 discussion on the Golden State Killer, reflecting on the "Hot for Holes" meme and the privacy implications of familial DNA databases. They also share a funny story about Karen being recognized at a Starbucks during a high-speed chase in Los Angeles. The main segment covers the 1945-1946 "Lipstick Killer" case in Chicago, detailing the murders of Josephine Ross, Frances Brown, and six-year-old Suzanne Dignan, and analyzing the media's sensationalism and the police's flawed investigation into meatpackers.
