Fan Favorite - "One Foot Out the Door"
Summary
This episode recounts the 2010 murder of Linnell Barsock in Palmdale, California, who was shot in the head by her secret lover, Lorraine Austin. While Linnell’s volatile boyfriend, Louis, was initially the prime suspect due to domestic violence history and a breakup note, detectives eventually ruled him out based on a solid alibi. The investigation revealed that Lorraine, who posed as a close friend, killed Linnell after their relationship ended and then framed Louis by leaving a fake letter and reporting the crime herself.
