Summary
Tara, a rural home health nurse, visits an elderly patient in Kentucky and discovers his wife’s corpse in the basement. After escaping a supernatural entity called a Raven Mocker, she survives by wearing the victim’s protective hag stone. Now living in San Francisco, Tara works in a call center but remains haunted by the creature’s lingering presence.
