The Rise of the Crimson Slaughter - Warhammer 40K Lore To Sleep To
Summary
This episode details the tragic history of the Crimson Sabres, a Space Marine chapter that severed ties with its founding lineage after a diplomatic incident with the Dark Angels. Driven by a rigid, perfectionist creed, the chapter alienated its allies and failed to defend its homeworld from a Chaos invasion. The narrative culminates in the massacre of Umidia, where the Sabres purged an entire planet based on a misunderstanding of local religious customs, leaving them haunted by guilt and isolated within the Imperium.
