501: Next
Summary
Jocelyn and Kat discuss the 2007 Nicolas Cage film Next, a flop that fails spectacularly yet remains entertaining due to its sheer stupidity. They critique the illogical rules of Cage’s two-minute precognition, the awkward age gap with Jessica Biel, and Julianne Moore’s presence in a role that undersells her talent. The hosts compare the movie’s disjointed action sequences to Minority Report and Ocean’s Eleven, noting how the script’s "gotcha" twists and lack of chemistry make it a bizarre, silly watch.
