Summary
This episode continues the story of the Trojan War, recounting Priam's plea to Achilles and the fall of Troy via the wooden horse. The narrative then shifts to Odysseus, who is ordered by Zeus to leave Calypso's island. After building a raft and surviving a violent storm with the help of a sea nymph, he washes ashore in Phoenicia. There, he is discovered by Princess Nausicaa, who guides him to her father's palace, offering him his first real hope of returning home.
