Summary
Dick Powell stars as private investigator Richard Rogue in this classic noir episode. Rogue teams up with reporter Clark Ames to expose Fred Curtis, a lawyer known for fabricating alibis, after Ames reveals Curtis paid a witness to perjure himself. When Ames' editor is murdered and the evidence vanishes, Rogue confronts Curtis, who admits to the killing and attempts to eliminate Rogue. Rogue outsmarts Curtis by faking his own death, tricking the murderer into confessing to Lieutenant Ervin before Curtis is executed.
