Horrorible (Film Fest: Doctor Mordrid 1992)
Summary
Hosts Adam Pranica and Ben Harrison review the 1990 cult classic Dr. Mordred, starring Jeffrey Combs. They discuss the film’s chaotic plot involving a wizard, a devil-worshipping villain, and a police consultant, while highlighting its low-budget charm and memorable production design. The episode features humorous banter about the movie’s inconsistencies, such as the confusing antagonist names and the infamous nude blood sacrifice scene. The hosts also identify a cameo by Murray Rubin from Ghostbusters and joke about the film’s connection to the Gremlins universe.
