Summary
In this episode of After Lore, the protagonists travel via gyro-rail to the Alcazar, encountering a society governed by octal time and extreme weather. They learn they are reconstructed data from a failed hypergate jump two millennia ago, shattering their sense of identity. As night falls, the building physically inverts, forcing them into an inversion chamber to survive while witnessing the execution of prisoners below.
