Episode 370: Cryptids of Egypt
Summary
The hosts discuss the upcoming Mummy reboot and the concept of "nostalgia bait" before pivoting to a "palate cleanser" episode on Egyptian cryptids. They explore the Blemmyes, the Bennu bird, the Kek, the Man-Eating Tree of Nubia, Avians, and the Sok, rating each creature using a "poison dates" scale. The discussion blends mythological analysis with humorous speculation, including a 1962 UFO encounter and theories on ancient animal costumes.
