Summary
Kit arrives at a remote trading post to relieve Swain, only to find the place abandoned and a mysterious visitor named Bard. As supernatural horrors escalate, including a reanimated horse and a vanishing building, Kit escapes into the desert. He eventually finds Swain at a similar homestead, realizing he is trapped in a cyclical nightmare where the dead do not stay dead.
